COMPOSITION IN LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
Composition is the key element in conveying effectively the visual message in a landscape photograph. It is also the most difficult aspect to master. Michel Bury's presentation will identify the various elements that can be utilized when composing landscape photographs: the careful selection of geometric shapes, what to eliminate, the use of tension and equilibrium, balancing positive and negative space and framing. Theory is illustrated with numerous photographs and graphic illustrations of the suggested techniques.
