MCC PRINT CHALLENGES
2023 - 2024
Rules:
- Prints with overall tone or colour throughout (e.g. sepia, selenium, etc.) are designated as Monochrome
- Monochrome prints that have been selectively painted in a localized area are classified as colour, regardless of how small or large the area of colour
- The entrant must be the maker of the original digital image. However, the resultant print maybe commercially produced
- Prints should be at least 9” on the long side and at least 8” on the short side of the image and matted to a maximum size of 16” x 20” (including the mount)
- Traditional mounting is required – the top with a bevel-cut, placed on top of the print with rear protective support. “Flush-mounted” prints are not accepted
- Each photographer may enter a maximum of three (3) images per Challenge
- Images that have been entered into the Print Challenges may be submitted to Montreal Camera Club competitions that are being scored
- Images previously entered in a Montreal Camera Club competition are NOT eligible
