2024 Four Nations Photo Competition FALL 2024 CONGRATULATIONS TO CAPA Team Canada wins 1st Place in the International Four Nations Competition! CONGRATULATIONS TO: Sylvia Rourke, Lyne Brissette, Guy Larin and Heather Loewenhardt for their participation in this amazing win. Their images were among the outstanding 80 selected to represent CAPA. The Four Nations Competition serves as a means of promoting a higher level of photography. This competition has been in existence for the past 20 years. |
    The participating photographic societies are: - Australian Photographic Society; - Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA); - Photographic Society of New Zealand; and - Photographic Society of South Africa. |

CAPA's January Artistic Competition - Individuals - January 30, 2024
Congratulations to Heather Loewenhardt who won first merit in the abstract theme with a score of 27 for her image entitled "Urban Invasion". This was the second highest mark in the competition. CAPA Selects Image for 2022 Four Nations Photo Competition MAY 2022 CONGRATULATIONS TO PHILLIP SHAPIRO for having his image selected to be part of Canada's submission of their top 80 images to the 2022 Four Nations Photo Competition. Since 2007, the photographic societies in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa submit their top 80 images, split into four categories - Nature, Open, Monochrome and My country. |
For 2022, the Photographic Society of South Africa is
hosting this competition which closes on June 24, 2022. |

The Four Nations competition was originally conceived to be a friendly inter photographic society competition and serves as a means of promoting a higher level of photography. The Four Nations competition receives top images from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa. CAPA has won this competition for the past five consecutive years. This competition has been in existence for the past 20 years. |
