Description of Outing:
Sports and action photography. Several Montreal streets will be closed on the Mont-Royal this weekend as the city welcomes riders taking part in the Grand Prix Cycliste. Twenty-one teams of professional cyclists will bike more than 200 kilometres on Sunday — 17 laps of a 12-kilometre course that will take them around Mount-Royal Park. The race kicks off Sunday at 11 a.m. and will run for five hours, beginning and ending at the Georges-Étienne Cartier monument on Mount Royal. Leaders: Phillip Shapiro and Lyne Brissette Date: Sunday, August 25, 2019 Cost: None Time: 10:15am Time for Group photo: 10:30am Note: The race will run rain or shine but if it appears to be bad weather the outing may be canceled.
