MY PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY

An artistic penchant leads me to follow a career in visual communications: After studying graphic design, I worked successively as a graphic designer, web designer, web project manager and finally mobile applications specialist. Since three years, I now offer services in photography.
In 2013, I joined a photo club and took part in my first competitions, which greatly contributed to raise my skills level and to feed my passion. In 2015, I did a first solo photo exhibition at the Lozeau Gallery: Bridges and Footbridges in Montreal. In 2016, I received the Photographer of the Year award at Club Photo Impression. Since 2017, I act regularly as a judge and lecturer in photo clubs, I lead workshops on different aspects of photography and I exhibit once a year with Collectif Avant-plan, a group of 8 photographers. In 2018, I won four Focus Awards in the contest organized by the National Museum of Photography in Drummondville. Then in 2019, I got the Photographer of the Year award at Club Photo Impression for the second time and several awards from the Canadian Photographic Association (CAPA). I regularly take pictures of natural and urban landscapes, nature as well as products in the studio. Each area has its own challenges and I particularly appreciate the enrichment brought by the combination of experiences to my understanding and practice of photography. |
