• how to use the histogram to change your camera settings to maximize the digital information recorded for your image

• Framing and composition advice on the walkabout

Know the operational features on your camera as indicated in your printed manual or find them on line at youtube.com by typing in the name of your camera model, e.g. Nikon D300
 
Have a fundamental understanding of how to use aperture, shutter speed, ISO and exposure compensation.

Clothing:  Dress accordingly
