Welcome back to the 2019-2020 season of the Montreal Camera Club Nature Division.

I am delighted to be your Nature Chair. My personal thanks go to Ilana Block who has made a special effort to introduce me to the requirements of the position and to facilitate the transition from her to me.

I encourage everyone to submit images to the competitions. Sharing your work in an encouraging environment and getting feedback from knowledgeable photographers and judges is a wonderful way to learn to improve your skills as a photographer.

I urge all contributors to the competitions to read the nature guidelines, nature handbook, and the instructions on how to label your images. My goals include maintaining the high level of the competitions with respect to being accessible, enjoyable and interesting for everyone.

I am looking forward to organizing these competitions and to assisting any members who may require help.
