This presentation is an introduction to this approach to photography. Lorraine will explain the process to help you prepare for this type of activity. It is not about doing minimalist images, it is about expressing yourself with photography and enjoying the present moment. Lorrainewill walk you through the different steps that will help you to look with your eyes, thoughts, and heart and enjoy looking at things differently. She will give you tricks to connect with yourself and to include emotions in your images. Bio
Committed to promoting photography and visual art, Lorraine Deslauriers started exploring photography in 2009. Having a vision and ideas about how she wanted her images to be, but challenged by her lack of technical skills, she became a member of different camera clubs. Learning from the best teachers—other members attending the clubs and professional photographers — she developed her own photographic style. Lorraine participated in various workshops with professional photographers:
Throughout those years, Lorraine became a serious and passionate photographer. She shares her knowledge and gives conferences to different clubs on various topics. Lorraine is also co-chair of programming for the Montreal Camera Club and a member of CAPA. Promoting photography and sharing with others, listening to other people’s points of view, are stimulating and enriching experiences and also help people to develop new skills in a visual art. Photography can be so rewarding, as you achieve the goals you have set for yourself. |
