BIO AND CONFERENCE:
Ilana Block has been practicing Naturopathic Medicine in Montreal since 2001. As of 2010, when she is not in her office, she is often out in nature, waiting for an animal to strike a pose, and absolutely loving it! Growing up with a huge appreciation for nature, photographing wildlife came naturally to her. She has won several local, national and international photography awards. She was the chair of the nature division at the MCC 2015-2018. She loves to travel, to be out in nature, to discover new places and to get to know new birds and other animals, meet great people and share her love of photography. She has been exhibiting at local cafes, an art gallery, and local universities. Ilana has been written up in the Gazette, has a permanent collection in a couple of hospitals and also had an exhibit in Paris. She has been selling her images over the past few years. During her presentation, she is looking forward to sharing some tips and tricks that she has learned over the years that have helped her improve her photography, and she hopes that you will each come away with at LEAST one or two tips on that evening that will help you improve your photography! |
