Pursuing editorial, commercial and travel photography worldwide, Montrealer Frederic Hore is an award-winning photographer, writer, lecturer and teacher. A freelance photojournalist for the Montreal Gazette for eight years, his remarkable images and stories have been published in the New York Daily News, Ottawa Citizen, Edmonton Journal, Vancouver Sun, Calgary Herald, CNN iReport, CTV News, PhotoLife, Canada’s premier photographic magazine, Canadian Camera, US adventure monthly Hooked on the Outdoors, plus numerous other publications and websites.

Graduating with a Diploma in Communication Arts from Dawson College, Montreal, he has lived or worked in virtually every major city in Canada from coast-to-coast. His international voyages, have taken him to more than 50 countries on all seven continents... including seven expeditions to Antarctica!

Frederic’s odysseys form the foundation for dynamic multimedia productions, presented with engaging music, history and lively travel lore to public and private organizations. In the last 17 years he has presented more than 170 shows to groups in the Montreal region and on expeditions ships, to popular acclaim.

An outdoor enthusiast, Frederic is an avid hiker, canoeist, cyclist, cross-country skier and certified scuba diver.
