Born in Quebec in the Laurentians, he discovered creation out of necessity.
Self-taught, he is always on the lookout for new technologies and is constantly experimenting with new technology, whether in photography or in video.
François has been working in photography since 1987. He worked at Lozeau until 2019 as the workshop director, lecturer and trainer. He is currently a sales representative with Olympus Canada and continues to offer training.
In a constantly changing environment, the portraitist must adapt quickly and be creative. The use of portable flashes and reflectors remains the ideal technique for making this type of portrait. You will learn to work simultaneously with ambient light and flash. The importance of a good white balance is particularly accentuated. Choosing a good lens and the angle of the shot will give your photographs a personal signature.
You will see the different steps you can take to create the photograph you have in mind. All you have to do is practice.
