Description of Outing:
Macro Photography and Close-up Photography is an increasingly popular form of photography. Learn about focus stacking, how lens focal length affects field of view, working distance and, ultimately, your image. Also plan to play with color and unique composition ideas. It is accessible and is a very broad genre of photography, offering something for just about any level of photographer from the seasoned pro to the novice beginner. Location: Montreal, Botanical Garden (Metro Station: Pie IX) 4101, rue Sherbrooke Street East, Montréal, QC H1X 2B2 Meeting Location: there are two entrances, one near the parking lot for people with daily tickets and one west of the building for people with the annual pass. Parking: $12 for the day, less for half-days. There is free parking near another entrance on Rosemont Boulevard but expect a 15 minute walk.
