Description of Outing:
This event will be a joint event with the MTL Astrophotographers Group. We have connected with this group during their Astrophotography Party two weeks ago. The event will take place between April 13th-14th, 2018 and will be weather and sky dependent.

Description of Outing:
We will be simulating long exposures by taking a very large number of photos (possibly over 200 images) that we will later stack with free software.
We will have a tutorial session on how to use the stacker software at a location that will be announced on the night of the event. At the site, we will show how to setup the camera for best results.

Suggestions on what to bring:
- the widest lens you have would be best, ideally 35 mm or less
- Tripod with weights
- please remove all straps on your camera
- Shutter release trigger
- flash light with a red filter
- extra batteries for camera and for camera trigger
- lens cloth to remove moisture on lens
Clothing:
- Please dress in layers and dress warm
- Bring Hot Drinks and Snacks
