Big win at the vernissage for the SPPQ Print Exhibition at Lozeau. Steve Lash won first place for the judges choice award with this beautiful image.

Make sure you stop by Lozeau and visit the exbibition which runs from January 30, to February 25, 2014.

Message from John Zimmerman:  I want to thank all the members of the club that voted for my image of the 2 wolves that were being considered for the front cover of the Canadian Geographic Special Wildlife edition. I just got a copy of the regular Canadian Geographic magazine, there is an ad for that special edition magazine and wow my image made front cover. They say the magazine went on sale yesterday (September 23, 2013).

Our very own Rachel Bilodeau and Shelley O'Connell will each have four images displayed for sale at this two-day exhibition - Images will be sold for about $20.00 or more (16x20 with a mat), and all proceeds will be given to the Association des amis du parc des rapides -

Rachel will also be selling some of her own greeting cards at this event ($3 each or 4 for $10, including the envelope).  The exhibition will be held all afternoon on September 1 and September 2, 2013

Our accomplished member Tom Freiman will be having an exhibition in the Côte Saint-Luc Library from September 7 to October 6, 2013.  

The Library is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.  There is lots of parking space behind the library!

Don’t forget to sign the guest book when you visit the exhibit.

Congratulations to Marlene Hornstein, a Montreal Camera Club member who had the cover photo of Canadian Camera Magazine summer of 2013 and received the gold medal for the CAPA individual competition for four images with a total score 97/120. We are very proud of you Marlene.
