Montreal Camera Club


Workshops on a variety of subjects are held throughout the year. Although some workshops will take place on club nights (Mondays), many take place on Wednesday evenings. These workshops are geared towards photographers of all levels.


In the first half of the year (September to December), there are 3 print competitions, 3 nature competitions (slides) and 3 pictorial competitions (slides). These competitions are judged by members of the club (as well as the occasional exterior judge). The photos are then critiqued enabling photographers to learn the "do's and don'ts" of photography. Trophies are awarded at the end of May.

Each year, the Montreal Camera Club has several outings for its members to attend. These outings are an opportunity for newer, inexperienced members to get some good tips from the older members. It is a great time to get to know each other and take some pictures as well!
